Art in Bridge is an organisation that has held an Art Exhibition in the village of Bridge every year in October, since 2001. This will be the 13th Open Exhibition The aim of the exhibition this year is to encourage anyone living, working/studying in Bridge or a rural Parish within 5 miles, young and old, from novice to accomplished artist, to make and exhibit their art.
The Exhibition will take place on Saturday, 5th October 2013 11.00 am - 7.00 pm and Sunday, 76h October 2013 11.00 am - 5.00 pm in Bridge Village Hall, High Street, Bridge, Near Canterbury, Kent, UK. Visitors are welcome and can view the Exhibition for free. Refreshments will be available. There is a soiree with music from 5.00pm on Saturday evening
All forms of visual arts and crafts (eg painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, craftwork) are welcome. The work can be un-framed, un-convential and even unfinished. Artists are asked to price work for sale if they so wish.
There will be three display areas in the exhibition:
Chains on the walls, for suitably framed work/Display boards, for work on paper
etc./Tables, for other work.
Visitors will be invited to nominate their favourite exhibit. The exhibits receiving the most votes will be announced after the close of the exhibition.
All Exhibitors must complete an Entry Form which includes the terms and conditions for exhibiting - this will be available in September 2013 from Colebrook Sturrock Estate Agents, 88 High Street, Bridge or from the Art in Bridge website www.artinbridge.org.uk | |
